The main theme of this short observational film is unclaimed deaths in San Francisco, particularly among the homeless population. We've seen a rising number of unclaimed deaths due to overdoses and other causes. I began this project by featuring a funeral home owner who performs rituals for the unclaimed and scatters ashes at sea.
