When I first read McCarthy’s play, something clicked in me that I haven't felt in a while. It wasn’t just it’s complex yet beautifully portrayed themes of religion and meaning or the connection between the men that comes and goes or the rawness of their dialogue or the circumstances within which they met - ones of life and death - moreover, it’s the ability to present us with two opposing views, yet we connect with both. There is no right answer, and that's what left me reflecting on his piece long after reading it. I wanted to share that feeling.
