As a female screenwriter and filmmaker, I've always been drawn to telling the kinds of raw, authentic stories about women that are too often overlooked. The Prince Charming Theory was born from personal experiences and the solace found in the hidden strength of other women. It's a story I needed but could never find on screen, lost in the cracks of everyday life. The goal was not only to produce a film accessible to survivors, but also to build a movement—partnering with local women’s shelters, survivor support centers, etc., so that the art gives back to those living these realities.
