The passage forms the second part of a trilogy of films that I am making of my take on the issues that plague the hood. The short tackles Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) - that all men are susceptible to being perpetrators of rape (or party to) because of the spaces they occupy in society and the perpetuation of patriarchy.

GBVF is a national crisis in South Africa, recognized by government as a national disaster. With my work I aim to speak to the realities my people face and use storytelling as a catalyst for conversation, reflection, and accountability.
