The basis for this story blossomed from a real-life experience, namely a game between friends, which appeared to me as an opportunity to tell an encapsulated tale, ideal for a short film format. In elaborating on the setting, characters, and philosophical core, I found myself incorporating elements from both my and my family's emotional ancestry and heritage. This became a very personal story, which relies on a single visual element, or symbol, to express my condition, and that of many others, who grew up in repressive households and struggle to relate to the outside world as a consequence.
