Creator
Val Florez is a Colombian-American aspiring filmmaker and a Lucasfilm production accounting trainee based out of Los Angeles. She earned her degree in International Relations from the University of Texas at Austin at the age of 19, switching careers to film and television during the pandemic. In 2024, Val produced her first short film, Alejandro!, that follows the life of a piñata, which was accepted into the LA Shorts International Film Festival, San Diego International Film Festival, El Paso Film Festival, and Phoenix Film Festival. A native Spanish and English speaker, Val is currently learning Italian and French.
