Is born from a deep reflection on the alarming rate of femicides and domestic violence that affects the Dominican Republic. As an artist, I feel a deep need to contribute to the conversation about these grave issues, which are not only individual tragedies but also reflect social dynamics that are often rendered invisible. My intention is to spark collective reflection through cinema, inviting viewers to question the structures that allow violence to be accepted and even normalized in the lives of so many women and girls in my country.
