Enveloped in the social issues of the time, this film is an allegory for the terror that local immigrant communities go through just to have a chance at a better life. My film takes place in a world quite like our own, where people go missing doing absolutely nothing but living their lives. I think this story is right to tell at this time because it hits close to home for me, being from an immigrant background.
