From the time I was a little girl I have been entranced by the glamour of the 1950s, idolizing icons like Audrey Hepburn, Lucille Ball, and Grace Kelly. They have mesmerized audiences for generations with their entrancing talent and beauty. Growing older I have come to recognize the darker underbelly of their industry, and sacrifices many women in film have made to share their art with the world. I wanted to explore the duality of beauty and tragedy in the golden age of Hollywood, through the lens of an unconventional actress with a dream to star on the big screen.
