Ketsia Beboua is a visionary artist who tells bold, thought-provoking stories across film and television. Her work explores identity and purpose, weaving these themes through comedy and drama. Whether in her PBS-aired short doc 'Passion & Pursuit', her surrealist short film 'Thalia', or her sharp, character-driven comedies, she brings a distinct perspective to every project, each standing apart in style while staying true to her core themes.
She is currently building her slate, led by two major projects: the short-form series 'In Session' for Fibe TV1, and the half-hour comedy series 'MisDirected', which is currently under option with Toronto-based production company Archipelago.
A graduate of Algonquin College’s Film & Media program, she has expanded her expertise through Sundance Collab Programs and the Soho House x CFC Mentorship, where Andrew Barnsley is mentoring her.
Passionate about pushing boundaries, Ketsia aims to craft stories that feel wholly unique from one another while remaining thematically resonant. She wants audiences to experience her work without immediately recognizing her hand, yet still feel its depth long after.
