I chose to tell The Best Candidate because I wanted to explore the idea that actions truly speak louder than words. The story follows a man whose determination and humanity are revealed entirely through what he does, rather than what he says. By making the main character completely silent, I aimed to show that resilience, integrity, and emotion can be powerfully expressed without dialogue — reminding us that sometimes, silence communicates the deepest truths.
