As Doe Town gears up for its 55th Annual Smile Contest, undefeated champion Bucky Bantershire begins to unravel when his long-suppressed Sweet Tooth resurfaces and drags him into sugary chaos. Bucky’s neighbor, golden boy Teddy Pinston, enters the contest as a means to bond with Bucky. Though unbeknownst to Teddy, Bucky views him as a threat and a representation of everything he lacks. Chaos ensues in the climactic scene at the smile competition where Bucky must confront the shallowness behind his famous smile. “Sweet Tooth” is a musical short about the consequences of letting perfectionism overcome embracing joy.
