This story, rather than following a traditional narrative structure, explores how identity is shaped by one’s surroundings and how that process leads to a quiet loss of true self. The work reflects my experience of moving to the United States and navigating the pressure to adapt, belong, and redefine who I am within unfamiliar cultural and artistic spaces. While not autobiographical, the film mirrors the tension I felt between change and preservation, and the subtle ways environment can influence behavior, performance, and self perception. Through imagery, the short becomes a reflection on how identity is shaped in a shifting environment.
