SOLE (얼) is a documentary about Song, a Korean immigrant cobbler in Nashville, Tennessee. When his daughter was born 25 weeks premature, he abandoned his dream of becoming a sound engineer and chose to become a cobbler. Set inside his quiet workshop, the film observes a man whose daily labor becomes an act of devotion. Through intimate moments, journals, and the rhythm of his craft, SOLE meditates on sacrifice, faith, and the unseen forms of success that emerge when love, not ambition, becomes the guiding force.
