I chose to tell this story, as an erotic thriller that serves as an allegory to what it feels like being queer around the holidays. It's also in a backdrop of a sunny California, which is where I grew up, and the holidays almost never fully feeling as cold as being hopeful and queer on the holidays had, and it's an arthouse spin on artistry and what queer folks would do for friendship, love, and self fulfillment.
