Hi! I'm Lauren, a Welsh creative with the aim of showcasing emotionally-driven narratives through my screenwriting. I graduated university in 2024 with a BA (Hons) degree in filmmaking. This really cemented my love for filmmaking and helped direct me towards writing and directing as potential career avenues. After university I was selected as one of the winners of the Blue Zoo and Disney Success Stories Writing competition, which was such an amazing opportunity as I received mentorship from a screenwriter and tailored workshops on development. More recently, I was awarded funding from Chapter Arts and BFI Film Academy. This helped me produce, write and direct my micro-short film “She Said”. I am incredibly grateful for the funding and support I had through this scheme, it helped my confidence with writing and directing, and ignited my passion for filmmaking once again.
