Sophia Steele is a filmmaker and author of Jamaican and Bahamian heritage, dedicated to telling imaginative stories of Afro-Caribbean girlhood. She works in development at international independent film studios, supporting projects by underrepresented creatives. Sophia has collaborated with Mattel and the United Nations and contributes to TIME Africa magazine. She graduated from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs, where she explored the intersection of media and multicultural storytelling.
