Jessica Redish is an accomplished writer & award-winning Director & choreographer. her body of work ranges from recently contributing choreography to The Smashing Pumpkins' International Tour to having her short film “The Last Croissant” win Best Director at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival & on Funny or Die. Jessica is honored to have directed for Elizabeth Banks’ WhoHAHA platform and received placement in the 2019 & 2020 Women in Film mentoring programs. She is the recipient of the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Choreography for her work on Silence! The Musical, a musical parody of The Silence of The Lambs. She currently attends USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where she is working towards her MFA in Filmmaking and Screenwriting. In addition to being nominated for multiple choreography awards, Jessica has also contributed her choreography to online influencers including Jay Shetty and major brands such as Pantene. Beyond choreography and commissions for various writing/directing projects, Jessica is currently writing two projects, FREE BRITNEY & cat. which was a semi-finalist in women in media’s CAMERAderie Initiative. Inspired by the work of Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, Alma Har’el, Bob Fosse as well as Tony Winner David Cromer and Tony Nominee Michael Greif, both of whom she has had the honor to work with Off-Broadway, Jessica strives for detail, honesty, compulsion and her work has been described as "A masterpiece of coordination and choreography" by Julie McHale (TimeOut Theatre Critic).
