This story is rooted in my anxieties surrounding confrontation. Oftentimes, it may seem easier to avoid it at all costs, putting yourself in strange, shameful positions instead of dealing with one's emotions directly. This story aims to highlight the rarely discussed truth of emotional suppression and the tension it builds, opening old wounds.
