The central metaphor is a broken plate: can fractured relationships be repaired, or are the cracks too deep? After leaving the person I loved most to 'discover' myself, time brought me certainty he was the one. But heartbreak had already moved him forward. One year later, we found each other again, and this film lives in that moment. Since then, I've seen modern love haunted by the same question: is monogamy enough, or do we keep breaking our most precious plates? SUPERGLUE is a heartbreaking attempt to stick the plate together, as alteregos embody the torment two soulmates cannot escape.
