As a neurodivergent kid, I found my refuge in stories. They were my guide to navigating a world that often felt alien—hostile. That’s why I became a storyteller—to build shelters with words so others wouldn’t be lost. Not surprisingly, my talents didn’t follow traditional paths. People found my voice on a new platform—YouTube. Since 2009 I’ve built massive online communities with 200M views and 2500 years of watchtime. There, I honed the visceral rhythm of hooking an audience, and proved that if you want to talk about big, challenging ideas, the best vehicle is a compelling story people can't put down. Now, I use that skill as a screenwriter and novelist. Wielding action-adventure stories about complex disabled heroes with gentle masculinity and queer identities, I use the excitement of genre to explore universal themes of resilience and finding your community.
