The fear and anticipation of running on stage, waiting for the lights to turn on so one can search for their parents in the crowd. Sahana follows a young Filipino tap dancer who meets a no-face figure in the crowd of her dance recital. Knowing in her gut that it is her father, she meets him face-to-face at home. Sahana is an experimental take on lack of presence, with nodes of immigration and its effect on a father-daughter relationship. It is about how this lack of presence can manifest into fear and anxiety during childhood.
