I chose to tell this story because I'm drawn to the quiet emotional patterns passed down within families, often without being named. Growing up, I began to see relatives not only through their roles, but as people shaped by their own histories and wounds. This helped me understand how care, restraint, and silence are inherited rather than chosen.

The film lives in what's unsaid. Telling this story felt necessary because it mirrors the emotional realities I recognise in my own environment, and because I believe there is honesty and tenderness in acknowledging relationships that never fully heal, but still shift.
