Audio is one of the fastest growing formats in today’s storytelling landscape. In this live event recorded at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, you’ll hear from industry experts as they share insights on how to tap into the ever-expanding possibilities of this dynamic craft.
During this panel, you’ll hear from film and TV professionals about their experience transitioning to audio storytelling, including: John Mankewicz, creator of the audio drama The Big Fix starring Jon Hamm, and Blaine Morris, who wrote and directed four episodes of the horror anthology podcast Nocturno, hosted by Danny Trejo. They are joined by Joshua Poole, Director of Creative Development at Audible, who shares his experience helping to shape original audio content for Audible.
The panel is moderated by Glynn Pogue, Associate Director of Development at Audible. An award-winning writer herself, she is also the co-founder and co-host of Black Girls Texting, a podcast that highlights and celebrates the multiplicity of Black women’s identities.
