I chose to tell RATTLESNAKE because it lets me explore love at its most dangerous point. Two people who don’t just survive together but bond through violence, until that bond starts to rot. I’m interested in how intimacy can become distorted, how shared secrets turn into shared delusions, and how people justify the worst versions of themselves when it feels like love. The film sits in that uncomfortable space where tenderness and brutality overlap. It asks whether redemption is something you earn, something you choose, or something you miss by staying loyal to the wrong person for too long.
