Creator
With the backing of a strong social media following and a unique voice, Alexis is a young & cutting-edge queer creator who has crossed over into traditional media seamlessly and continues to grow as a writer/performer/director on all platforms. Her short film, THE BEGINNING & THE MIDDLE (which she wrote & directed), premiered this year at festivals such as BFI Flare (London’s premier LGBTQIA+ film festival), OutFest, and NFFTY to name a few. She was selected by OutFest as one of three filmmakers to be awarded the inaugural Colin Higgins Youth Filmmaker Grant for her work. Alexis developed a ½ hour dark comedy series for FX, is currently developing her own original pilot, and is out with her first feature (a queer rom com about more than just coming out; it’s also about brunch). She previously directed and starred in a branded commercial for Google. Alexis most recently starred in the HBO Max pilot CAMP FRIENDS from Jax Media, director Todd Biermann, and EP Adam Goodman. She can be seen starring alongside Iris Apatow in the short film VODKA, written & directed by Roxy Sorkin, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She also starred in Jill Gutowitz’s short THE LADIES alongside Lisa Ann Walter, which premiered at OutFest. In 2018, Alexis was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Daytime Digital Series for ZAC & MIA. Alexis has over 1 million YouTube subscribers and close to 400K Instagram followers.
