Primal Instinct is a comedy about Lily, a young teacher at the beginning of her career in an elementary school governed by rigid rules and an obsession with order. There, she clashes with a supervisor who embodies this institutional perfectionism, while Lily instinctively gravitates toward creativity and empathy. Through humor and absurdity, the film explores the classroom as a microcosm of society — a space where authority, identity, and ideology are rehearsed and internalized. As Lily faces her first professional crisis, she must decide what kind of teacher — and ultimately what kind of adult — she chooses to become.
