Mia and her family are in the middle of a road trip to move south to Kentucky. While stopping along the way to restock and refuel, Mia is exposed to new parts of society she doesn’t quite understand. Observant of what’s around her but oblivious to the why’s and how’s, she is easily impressionable and accepts things as they are. And while her family is undergoing a period of uncertainty during this move, it’s all lost on Mia.
