For 'Paid the Price', I chose to tell this story because of my experiences growing up in South London, where I witnessed the impact of societal pressures like economic hardship and systemic inequalities on individuals and communities. These challenges often pushed people into difficult, morally complex situations, with profound emotional and psychological consequences. Through this story, I wanted to highlight the struggles of navigating such environments and explore the cost of decisions shaped by these pressures.
