This film is a love letter to music, language, and my family members who all live in Korea. Inspired by the ideas of Roland Barthes Image-Music-Text, I weave my love for music and my desire to communicate with my estranged family members in Korea, documenting my exploration of culture and language through music and the "grain" of the voice. This film is representative of all the things that inspire me and have molded me into the artist I am, and the artist I want to become.
