I chose to tell this story as a reflection of my own relationship with my mother and the complexity of loving someone while carrying unresolved pain. Growing up with a single parent shaped me in profound ways, and only with time did I begin to understand the weight she carried. This film explores the fear of losing someone before reconciliation is possible and the destructive nature of avoidance and obsession. Through the metaphor of Saturn, I examine grief, regret, and the longing to repair what feels fractured, asking what becomes of us when we turn away from love.
