This psychological drama follows Sam and Marie, an elderly married couple living in New York City, who try to cope with the effects of Alzheimer's disease. In his dementia-induced delusions, Sam believes he is back in the 1980s and mistakes his wife for his grandmother. Sam takes the woman he believes is his sick grandmother on walks through Central Park, he helps her with her chores, and reminds her to take her medication. Marie plays into his delusions to avoid confusing him and provoking conflict. When Sam discovers an ID stating he was born in 1958, their reality crumbles.
