With Nothing but the End, I wanted to capture the growing sense of
anxiety that I, like so many youngs, feel as we stand on the brink of
collapse.
To create is, in some way, to leave a trace, a sense, I’ve always wanted to do that through cinema. But in recent
years, that ambition has collided with a brutal reality: what’s the point of it
all when everything seems destined to disappear? Between climate
crises, societal breakdown, and a growing sense of powerlessness, one
question lingers: should we still believe in the future, or live before
it’s too late?
