The myth of Narcissus has always been one of my favorites. It struck me, deep in my gut, how torturous the longing and yearning must have been for him. I wanted to depict this agonizing and heart wrenching feeling in the best way I new how. With the help of my dear friend Quinn, we loosely choreographed phrases of movement to instrumental music and I then used those images as inspiration when I was writing the script. Everything naturally unfold from then into the experimental dance film that it is today. Being my first short, "Narcissus" very special to me.
