Albert, a patient in a psychiatric facility, pleads with his psychiatrist, Ms. Eliot, for a single day of freedom to celebrate his newborn daughter’s birthday. As memory loss distorts his perception of reality, their sessions uncover fractured recollections, desperation, and buried truths. Determined to reconnect with his family, Albert confronts the fragile boundaries between hope and delusion in his quest to be present for his daughter’s special day.

Doğu Artun Özorhan is a twenty-one-year-old filmmaker from Ankara, Turkey. Since his childhood, he was deeply involved in art and music. While he was still in high school, he participated in several film productions and eventually started making his own films. After finishing high school he moved to the U.S. to pursue his desire to make films, and to become a director. Currently he is studying film production at Ringling College of Art & Design in Florida, and working on new projects.
