Mirage illustrates the delusions of girlhood under the modern world. A girl encounters visions of the possible futures while facing a confrontation proposed by her date.
The story was free-written by me as true to myself rather than following a prompt and it captured an emotion I once found hard to put into words. As I drew its storyboard, I enjoyed the pressure of taking control visually as an independent director. Behind the product was a production that required intense and professional responsibility. Mirage as a passionate, personal project, allowed me to grow my technical skills and thinking without constraints.
