I wanted to make M.M with absolutely zero creative restrictions, meaning I did use some music. I was stylistically inspired by the French New Wave to tell a story that embodies resistance to an oppressive authority, M.M is about a character so curious and so determined that it gets him in serious trouble. On top of writing, directing, and editing the film, I also starred as Otto Dean, an author inspired by myself. Dean cherishes artistic freedom, like myself, and seeks to find an answer despite his crippling fears of death. It is a story of passion, pursuit, and fear.
