After my mother passed away when I was 21, I rescued a pit bull named Joni, and masked my pain with intimate relationships. I lost Joni in a tragic accident, and wanted to tell a story about the loss of animal that came into my life after losing my mother. This is a film about grief and Pauline’s journey to confront what she has been suppressing for too long.
