Mary’s Sunday is the modern rendition of Mother Mary today. This was heavily inspired by Sean Baker’s movies and talking of the human nature in all walks of life. When I think of Mother Mary and what burdens she had to carry as a young mother, I thought who else can bear the burdens and societal humiliation than a sex worker? Although her life is difficult, her faith is unwavering, and almost unexpected in many ways. I want to learn from the individuals that aren’t commonly given voices.
