About this Video
My uncle Rudy Lozano Jr. has always been important to me. I have always knowing his family was important, but only recently I learned about his family's legacy. Rudy Lozano Sr. was a leftist organizer and activist that fought for undocumented people in Chicago. His untimely assassination in 1983 helped mold the future of leftist organizing across the country. His story has never been told on film, but a few years ago my uncle told me I would be the one person he would trust with his father's story. As an organizer and filmmaker, this story is my greatest calling.
