I chose to tell this story because I’m interested in the quiet horror of disconnection — the way inattention can become a form of disappearance. The classroom becomes a metaphor for presence and absence: when we disengage from the world around us, we risk slipping into spaces where we are unseen, unheard, and ultimately vulnerable. The alternate dimension in the film isn’t just a supernatural setting, but a manifestation of isolation and detachment. Through horror, I wanted to explore how small, everyday choices can lead to unexpected and irreversible consequences.
