This is a deeply personal story that I first adapted into a script and then brought to life as a film. It has resonated with many young women I’ve shared it with and has received several awards from independent film festivals, which speaks to its impact. Despite having limited resources, I was able to bring this story to the screen and unite a group of talented creatives who helped make it possible. This film was shot in Belgrade, Serbia, a place where I experienced many life-changing events in 2025.
