I chose to tell this story because it reveals a truth in plain sight: the people who feed the United States are often the least seen. Through Grace, who learned early that food is a language of belonging and turns it into a mission, and Yelixa, arriving in New York rebuilding from zero, we see kitchens become lifelines. The film honors the dignity, skill, and invisible labor that keeps restaurants running and grocery shelves stocked, and asks what happens when those hands are pushed into fear and lose the space to keep feeding.
