Hannah Schoettmer is an award-winning filmmaker and writer currently based in Los Angeles. Her writing and journalism work has or will appear in venues like The Louisville Review, The Indianapolis Review, The Seventh Wave, KUOW Public Radio, and elsewhere. Her films have screened in festivals like Wild and Scenic and the Pareidolia Video Art Festival, among others. Awards and supporters for her filmic and literary work include Brooklyn Poets, a Pushcart Prize nomination, a Best of the Net nomination, the Southern Exposure film fellowship, the Seattle Opera, and elsewhere.
