This project offers a unique and personal glimpse into the life of my friend Lera, whom I’ve known for over 11 years. We studied art and design together in Minsk before moving to Europe at 18 to pursue our dreams of becoming artists. Throughout the years, we’ve stayed in touch, and this film became a way to reconnect creatively.
Lera’s artwork and the film’s aesthetic blend seamlessly, creating an intimate portrait of someone I’ve watched build her career step by step, overcoming challenges and the realities of being an immigrant.
