On a dreamy first date along the California coast, Abby playfully avoids Derek’s longing gaze. As the light-hearted afternoon progresses into a quiet evening, flashbacks of her past love reveal lingering heartbreak. Their date becomes a subtle game of cat and mouse as she runs from Derek and her own fears of vulnerability. Ultimately, Abby must confront Derek, and the pain she’s been avoiding, in order to discover the possibility of healing and opening herself to love again.
