During my time in New York, I grew close to the hispanic community, and I was moved by their resilience during the hardship when trying to realize their American dream. I was reminded of the stories my parents told me when they first moved to the city and build something for their own. With the recent events related to immigration, I wanted to use my lens to portray this specific human condition.
