In response to discourse on attention spans, I wanted to represent the visuospatial processing of attention and how effortful it is through the eyes of someone struggling. I was curious about how an absence of attention towards our internal conditions, like a lack of sense of self, spill into our outward attention in conversations, environments and faces when we catch up. How do attempts to sustain attention, to listen look or sound like when yours has been fractured? How do we try to recover attention from the past? How does our conversation change based on our quality of attention?
