I Found My Gender

I made this film because Zender’s journey mirrors my own search for identity. Gender can be fluid, messy, funny, and sacred all at once. In the video, Zender literally peels themselves apart and rebuilds who they are, and that surreal process captures what it feels like to grow up not fitting into the boxes people expect. I wanted to show gender as something you can discover, lose, reshape, and finally stand in with pride. This film is my way of giving language and visuals to a feeling I didn’t always know how to explain.
