The film follows three Karen individuals, members of an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to Myanmar and Thailand. Set in Huay Tong Kor in northern Thailand, the film traces how their daily routines are intertwined through shared labor, collective care, and enduring ties to land. As younger generations leave for cities due to limited educational and economic opportunities, shaped by the Thai government’s lack of investment in Indigenous infrastructure, and national park policies restrict farming, the village continues to shift. Through intimate, everyday moments, the film observes how the community adapts to change while holding onto the relationships that sustain them.
